The Department of Anatomy at Mahidol University’s Faculty of Science warmly welcomed new graduate students during the GRAD FRESHY 2026 orientation for the 2026 academic year (B.E. 2569). The event was held on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in Room AN1-202, Anatomy Building, Faculty of Science, Mahidol University.

The program started with welcoming remarks from Assoc. Prof. Somluk Asuvapongpatana, then moved to an overview of the graduate program by Assoc. Prof. Krai Meemon. Participants were also introduced to the department’s academic and support staff, available facilities and learning resources, along with other key information to assist their academic path. Additionally, faculty members from each laboratory discussed their research focuses and highlighted the unique strengths and opportunities they offer, giving students a broad view of the department’s diverse research environment.

The program featured interactive welcome activities like student self-introductions, team-building exercises, and refreshments. These events helped new students get to know their peers, academic staff, and support staff in a warm and friendly environment.

The program ended with warm greetings from Assoc. Prof. Somluk Asuvapongpatana, Head of the Department of Anatomy, and Assoc. Prof. Wattana Weerachatyanukul, former Head and now Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Salaya Campus at the Faculty of Science, Mahidol University. They warmly welcomed the new graduate students and extended their best wishes for success in their studies and future research at Mahidol University.

Through the orientation program, new graduate students had the opportunity to become familiar with the academic environment, build meaningful connections with academic and support staff and fellow students, and begin their graduate studies with confidence and enthusiasm.
